There are two things I absolutely love about this photo, 1. my snake skin pants and 2. my snake skin pants.  No, but really though after seeing these pants on @natybaby on Instagram I just fell in love.  I was hesitant to try them on because I wasn't sure how I felt about all that print.  I know printed pants are all the rage right now, but when you try anything new for the first time you seem to second guess yourself, at least I do.  After trying them on I loved them even more.  I love that the detailing on them is really subtle because it makes transitioning into printed pants a lot easier for someone who isn't used to them. (Like me!) 

This shot was taken at a local park by my house.  I love this bench because during the summer near sunset, you can get the coolest looking flare in all photos if you time your shot just right!

Over the weekend my friends and I road triped to Las Vegas!  The weather was great, the strip was empty and yes, there were lots of EDC kids running a muck of the place with their furry leg warmers.  What are those things even for? 

In the first photo, my friends were nice of enough to build a bench for me to sit on infront of the Las Vegas sign because there weren't any benches in the area.  The following 3 were all taken at the House of Blues inside the Mandalay Bay.  Each were equally cool and unique made of license plates, bottle caps, and combo lockers.  I'll probably update this post with some up close pictures of the benches to see the detail of each bench.  Shout out to my manager Stephanie who pitched this bench to me!

After being on hiatus for the past couple of days/weeks, I'm finally back with lots of bench photos from my vacation as well as this one above.  Celebrating my boyfriend's birthday (the photographer of all my photos) we came to eat at Benihana.  Excuse the poor quality photo, my iPhone can only do so much and I forgot to let the photographer know to bring his camera for a shot today.  I can't even get mad at him for not being prepared, I mean it is his birthday!

Yesterday, the parents of two of my close friends celebrated their 25th anniversary.  In tribute to their special celebration, this bench was taken inside their home on their piano bench.  If you look closely, you can see their wedding picture hanging right above my head.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Villegas, one of the cutest couples I know!

Knott's Berry Farm Bench, Buena Park circa 1978

  My aunt forwarded me this picture earlier in the week for my Bench Collection and I absolutely love it!  It is of my uncle and my grandpa while out on a family trip to Knott's Berry Farm.  My uncle was probably about 9 years old in this picture and I love that he's sitting on the mannequin's lap.  I love looking at old photo's like this of my aunts and uncles when they were younger, but especially of my grandparents.  My grandpa still looks like he did in this picture and he you can bet that his style hasn't changed much even now at 77!

The picture that started it all...

Back in 2009, while on a getaway trip with my boyfriend, we were visiting San Diego and I came across this bench.  I sat down on it and my boyfriend snapped this shot of me.  Every time I sat on a bench during that trip my boyfriend would take a photo and at the end of the trip we laughed about how many bench shots we actually got.  Little did we know what those few benches would develop into. From then on, we started our collection of benches from various cities and places that we have traveled to together. It has become something fun we like to do together and are always on the hunt for a good bench to add to the collection.
